WATERING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SHRUBS & PERENNIALS

DAY ONE:  Our Landscaping team will water at the time of installation.  If you are planting yourself, please water each plant thoroughly.

DAY TWO:  Water all plants allowing the water to soak in and drain.  This allows the soil to settle around the roots.

NEXT THREE WEEKS:  Water every 3-4 days if the weather is hot, 4-5 days if its below 80 degrees, and then water once a week for the next 8 weeks.  (*If we do not get rain during that time.)  Allow the water to thoroughly soak in until the water starts to run off the top of the plant soil line.  Slowly back off completely.

WATERING IN LATE FALL:  Water once in late November or early December so that the plant goes thru the harsher months moist.

WATERING INSTRUCTIONS FOR TREES

Water half the frequency of shrubs and perennials listed above.

*An inch of rain would count as a watering

Other factors such as wind, sun, shade, and soil type should be considered.
